To help you make an informed decision about your funeral service options, we’ve broken down all the costs in our general price list. We also have several payment options to lessen the financial burden. If you have any questions, please reach out, as our staff is happy to help you explore all your options.
PAYMENT POLICY
Our goal is for you to experience the uniqueness of Laurel Oaks with as little financial burden to your family as possible. For your convenience, we offer a number of payment options such as cash, check, debit or credit card, insurance assignment, payment from a forwarding or receiving funeral home, pre-paid funeral plan with Laurel Oaks or another funeral home, and Lending USA. Please be aware that payment is due at the time of arrangements. If you are not prepared at this time, then payment must be received no later than 48 hours prior to the services. If you choose to pay by insurance assignment, the life insurance policy must be verified no later than 48 hours prior to the service, assignable, and non-contestable. (A contestable period is usually two years from the date the policy is written.) A fee of 3% will be applied to the funeral contract amount or a minimum.
We also work closely with a company called Lending USA which specializes in loans for funeral expenses and will be happy to assist you in applying for this service.

I. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Basic Services of Funeral Director & Staff and Overhead

Our fee for the services of funeral director and staff includes, but is not limited to, staff to respond to the initial request for service, arrangement conference with family or responsible party, arrangement of funeral, recording data, preparing and filing all necessary legal documents and permits, staff assistance prior to, during and following the funeral. Also included in this charge are overhead expenses relative to our facilities such as insurance, maintenance, and utility expenses. This fee for basic services and overhead will be added to the cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is reduced and already included in our charges for forwarding or receiving remains, disinterment, direct cremation, and immediate burial.)

Embalming

Except in certain cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with a viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial.

ADULT OUTER BURIAL CONTAINER PRICE LIST

In most areas of the country, state or local law does not require that you buy a container to surround the casket or urn in the grave. However, many cemeteries, including Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, require that you have such a container so that the grave does not collapse. Either a grave liner or a burial vault will satisfy these requirements.

Burial Spaces
Developed property is priced from $2,645.00 per space. A perpetual care fee of 15% per space must be added to the price of each space. This fee is for maintenance and care of the property.
* Pre-need burial spaces can be financed with a 10% down payment and monthly installments over 12 months without a finance charge.
Mausoleum Crypts
Crypts are priced from $12,500.00 to $25,000.00 plus 7% perpetual care fee. Price includes engraving of name(s) and available dates. Future dates (death dates) will be engraved at a charge of $300.00 (future dates cannot be pre-paid). All lettering will be the same size and style. No inscriptions will be allowed.
Outer Burial Containers
The minimum requirement for an outer burial container for an adult burial in Laurel Oaks Memorial Park is a concrete grave liner. Laurel Oaks offers the concrete liner on an at-need basis for $995.00.
Opening and Closing of Grave
The charge per adult grave opening is $1,500.00 regular time Monday through Friday and $1,950.00 on Saturday.
No interments will be scheduled after 3:00 PM. There will be no Sunday interments.
(Opening and closing for Laurel Oaks Memorial Park can be prepaid on pre-need arrangements.)
Cremation Niches
Niche prices range from $1,400.00 to $2,530.00 plus 15% perpetual care fee per niche. Death date will be an additional charge of $225.00. Individual Plaques are $775.00 (10”x 6”) and include 15 characters and one emblem. Companion Plaques are $1,150.00 (18” x 6”) and include 30 characters and one emblem.
Memorial Markers
The prices quoted include tax, installation at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, all available names and dates at the time of ordering. On pre-need markers there will be an additional charge for the death date.
Laurel Oaks Memorial Park must order your burial marker or monument not later than 21 days after you have paid 100% of the cost of the marker on monument, you have paid in full all charges for the interment fees and corresponding required perpetual care, you have paid in full any marker or monument setting fees, you have approved the lettering and design for the marker or monument; and you have signed the necessary documentation direction or authorizing Laurel Oaks Memorial Park to order the marker or monument.
Laurel Oaks Memorial Park must set your (flat) marker not later than 15 days after you have inspected and accepted the marker, and you have paid in full all charges for the marker and interment spaces, including required perpetual care and any setting fees.
Laurel Oaks Memorial Park must set your (upright) monument not later than 25 days after you have inspected and accepted the monument, and you have paid in full all charges for the monument and interment spaces, including required perpetual care and any setting fees.
If Laurel Oaks Memorial Park is unable to set your burial marker or monument by the aforementioned deadlines, Laurel Oaks Memorial Park will notify you in writing not later than the 5th day after the date by which your marker or monument is required to be set and inform you of the reason for the delay, and the date by which Laurel Oaks Memorial Park expects to be able to set your marker or monument.
